Vintage Swiss Army Military Garment Clothing Bag Duffel, Rubbery Material-Used. Condition is "Used."
I've always found multiple uses for vintage Swiss military gear. This garment/"duffel bag" satchel has some good uses.
As a soft briefcase measuring 17" x 13," I've used one to tote a three ring binder to work with work papers in it on rainy day. It extends lengthwise to make a garment bag suitable as a cheap gym bag to carry towel, soap, athletic shoes in and then you have something to haul your sweaty work out clothes or wet swimsuit out of the gym.
Lastly, it works great in back of car to put muddy running shoes or hiking boots in to keep car interior clean or sort loose trunk stuff like jumper cables, flashlight, first aid kit, -whatever useful is rolling around in your car that you want to keep consolidated.
The two metal clasps work fine. Note that slight seam wear is evident on one corner as I showed in the photos. This does not negate satchel's usefulness.
