Minidisc was tested, it's in very good working condition; it sounds great.
It is a
vintage portable SONY MD player and RECORDER
– unit looks very good with few wear marks – please check the photos. Someone marked a number on one side. Please check

The battery compartment is clean and the battery connectors are gold plated
, battery door opens, closes and stay closed as it should.
Unit has line in (optical), microphone in, DC in (3)V... and it's portable.
This minidisc supports MDLP and it is capable of recording up to 4 full-length audio CDs onto one small minidisc (via Sony's proprietary ATRAC format).
LP2 (ATRAC3) for high quality music, LP4 usually used for speeches. Digital Mega Bass, also.
It works with
only 1 AA battery
