Here is a Reyes, Pacheco Rosetta 9 piece Tufa Casting belt buckle set, signed   "R P Rosetta"   on one of the 9 pieces.
Reyes, Pacheco Rosetta is a Santa Domingo Pueblo (KEWA) Navajo Silversmith, from New Mexico. His Outstanding jewelry was Showcased at the Autry Museum of the American West in
Los Angeles California.
Tufa Casting is a stone compressed of Volcanic Ash material that is found on their Reservation. The artists designs are carved into the flat surface on the inside of the mold.
It then will be filled with Silver. Tufa Stone is Extremely Fragile. Silversmith's will only get one good cast from each mold. Nearly all Tufa cast pieces are One-Of-A-Kind, as the mold will literally break
after casting.
The weight of this 9 piece Sterling Silver belt buckle set is a Hefty 16.8 ounces or 475 grams.
The pieces are not marked Sterling, but are Verified Sterling Silver with an acid test.
The stones are Natural Turquoise and Mediterranean Coral.
Each of the 9 pieces Symbolizes different Meanings to the American Indian Culture.
The size of the pieces range from 2 1/2  x  2.0 Inches, being the largest to 2 1/4  x  1 3/4 Inches the smallest.
